Interview with PrashBricks

If you remember, we posted in July an interview with one of our contributors. This month, were interviewing one of our most vigilant followers, PrashBricks!

Tell us a little about yourself.

I am a 15 year old boy who lives in the Netherlands and likes spriting, reading, making video’s for YouTube, making terraria sugestions, coding, playing terraria, and, of course, Lego® building!

Neat! How long have you been building?

Since I was 4, so that is, a Whopping ±11 years!

(Whistle sound effects) That’s longer than me even! What is your favorite part? Favorite Color?

Favorite Part(s): Tile 2 x 2 with Groove [3068b] (Because I like smoothing out my MOC’s and it makes them look awesome and not like a Lego® MOC by #teamtilesFavorite Color: Certainly Olive green!

Ah, good old olive green. I wish they had it appear more often. Sniff, sniff. Ah, well. Why do you like building?

It’s satisfying, that after a long day of hours and hours of building, you can finally see how good job you have done!

Amen to that, brother! What kind of models do you like to build?

Minifigure Weapons, real-life Weapons, machines, scenery’s and Modular Buildings.

That is a good combination! You could easily make a MOC with all those aspects in it. What model are you most proud of?

The Model that I have finished just a few days ago, ‘The Chamber Of The Dark Lord’ (which is me by the way ;P)

You readers can see a picture of that at the end of the post! What inspires you to build?
Modular Buildings in existence, Lego® Ideas, YouTube and terraria!
Some of the best places! Finally, what is the most important tip you would give?
Tip 1: Build modular buildings with an open back, in this  way you use less bricks and you can get a better look at the interior for playing purposes or photo shooting.
Tip 2: First think about a mechanism when building a real-life ranged/magic weapon or machine, and then build the outside.
Thanks for the techniques! Well, that’s all we have for today. If any of you readers want a chance for an interview, just let us know in the contact form! And here are a few of PrashBricks’ models!

  1. Thank you for posting this! I was waiting for it quite a long time, and it was all worth it!

You made a nice layout, and I like your extra comentrary, and obviously the question at the end.

By the way, I am having a bit of a trouble in choosing what I want to buy with my birthday money, I could either buy
    – a good computer set-up
    – detective’s office + a good spriting program
    – parts for lego MOC modular buildings + a good spriting program
    – parts for lego MOC ranged weapons + a good spriting program
    – carrot gun in real life + a good spriting program

    Do you have any advice?
I have already made a list with the pro’s and con’s of each choice, but I still have no idea!
